I've made a guide to designing a deck mold in Fusion 360.

Not so much here in terms of DIY deck building as there could be, lets fix that.

I ll try to look at it as I want to learn but don’t have time :sleepy: thumbnail looks great tho:grinning::+1:

Excellent tips especially concerning proceduralizing your design, the 3" rule and press leverage. Nicely done!

Great guide man! I have a lot to learn in terms of designing decks and molds.

I am working with my father to purchase a large format 4x8 cnc router with like a foot of travel. It would be great to start machining deck molds! I also have one of those roarockit bags, but would probs buy a press at some point for pressing the decks.

Would be cool if I could easily do one-offs for people, but it would be quite costly to do just one.

Could definitely do custom designs and stuff, just deck shape would be costly because of the mold.

Combine this with the guy who made the 3d printed tooling and you have everything you need to make a board from veneers.

This would actually be awesome. I would design it myself and send it to you  Are you still considering it?

Another advantage of this CAD approach is that one could easily design an enclosure mold and then do the enclosure himself.
