Makes me wonder what this forum is actually worth. Is there even a way to properly appraise a community like this?
I can imagine hiring an analyst who came back with “this forum is worth approximately 12000 cases of Stella Artois and 150 pounds of weed” because i need people who speak my language.
actually, if it was appraised, i would translate the dollar amount to those units and post it prominently.

The conversation with Jason over the value of the site was hilarious. Kinda wish we would have publicly posted that entire situation. But at the time we were trying to stay on somewhat good terms with builders (even tho they were banning us) so things didn’t turn into builders vs news. Wasn’t trying to make people pick sides.
