Is Vestar a safe company to buy from?

Hey, was looking at prebuilt boards and came across the Vestar osprey 13s8p. Seems pretty sweet but don’t know if it’s a company I can trust or get in contact with if something goes wrong.
Anyone have dealt with them in the past or have any experience with them?

There are certainly better options out there from more trustworthy companies

I’m not a savvy member I don’t build . I have had bad experiences with CF boards and signal retention for my remote.

My biggest concern now when I buy is what happens when it breaks? Where am I shipping it? So many times I got a board that was a good deal till it had to be fixed.

I now can drive my board 1.1/4 hours to get it fixed. It is why I still ride.otherwise I’d quit as repairs suck

Ah fair, I do remember ownboard having issues with the forged vs the 3k carbon.

Don’t forget, I like damon, but I don’t see the point in such minimal clearance from the ground to the motors. Also the gear drive slips and the motors fall to the ground is a serious concern. - double screw on both mount sides or a bolt can help there.

Other than that I like the material that the deck encloser uses (warping aside) prehaps better formula more temp resistant.

As with DYI even when we aim for perfect there’s a few bumps along the way.
