Is it normal IMU is not working for an eskate?

hello, i’m new to the topic but i was setting up my VESC app and I did it for motors, app config and then in the VESC termina log i see this:

LSM6DS3 Address A failed, trying B
LSM6DS3 Address B failed
Invalid command: imu type internal
type help to list alt available commands

so I went to Setup IMU from the welcome screen and it says it detected that my IMU is not working.

is this something I should worry about for my eskate? I have Focbox Unity and doing all the setting in the desktop app.

Does the unity have IMU? :thinking:

The IMU is there for balance applications. You don’t need it in eskate.
Ignore all the IMU errors, your vesc is fine.

As long as you are not building a onewheel or another vehicle that uses gyroscope for throttle, you are good.
