Hes got a test rigged up that will turn the Xenith on and off continuously and log if anything weird happens. He’s going to let it run over night, says he’s expecting 200 cycles or so

And in unrelated but also relevant news-

The Xenigotchi Datalogger module: a drop-in replacement for the stock BLE module in the Xenith, is in-stock and shipping.

The Xenigotchi is an always-on datalogger with integrated QSPI flash memory which can store dozens of hours of ride time logs, to be sync’d whenever you feel like checking in! This ensures that any faults are always captured, and we’ve added various audio alerts that can be set to temperature or voltage thresholds, tied to a 90dB buzzer.

These are first batch so considered beta, but runs the same hardware/firmware as the original Robogotchi which has been in testing for the last year. You’ll receive an invite to our early access FreeSK8 Mobile App & beta testing groups, as we’re in the final stretch moving up to a public release. Please note, they do require that your Xenith ESC be running fw5+.

Pardon the flux, some shots of the first one I built up:

The LCD & UART2 ports come unpopulated on this batch as UART2 is not yet active & using them requires trimming of the silicone boot.

Thanks @BuildKitBoards for bringing an awesome ESC offering to the market and giving us the opportunity to get these connected to our FreeSK8 system.

Cheers!

For any s-count just multiply the number of cells in series by 4.2V.

Please answer like I went to a city college. :sunglasses:
