Introducing the BKB Xenith

Those damn floats

Would clipping off the bullet connectors from the phase wires and soldering on male mt60 be the best option?

Yea i’d cut the Xenith side. Maytech motor wires are a bitch to resolder last i remembered, gotta scrape the enamel coating or melt it, risk dying, and then solder it.

Thanks, I was afraid of that. It would be nice to see what others are doing

Never had any issues soldering connectors to maytech motors personnaly, the phase wires are usually standard silicon wires.

@Savage1 Why clipping tho ? I’d desolder the connectors you don’t need, on whatever side depending on the connector you’re going to keep.

Bullets are better than 3…

Second this, it’s obvious in the pic that the motors phase wires are 200C silicone. Should be no problem to solder to as long as your soldering iron has enough watts to heat everything up

I think he is talking about big Maytech motors like 63100 or something like that (with can support bearing)
We had here a selling thread about a week ago - those motors had coated cables

Regular 6374 comes with a standard ones, like Flipsky and many others.

What fw will comes with the xenith? And what about the bluetooh, is it same with the unity before?

New batches will have 23.46 as we have had a few reports of 5.2 giving wonky PPM values. 23.46 is stable and thoroughly tested which is the most important.

Something like this? Or just jumpy pwm signals?

I suck at soldering and trying to get the motor on that lil mr60 was a pain in the ass. I just used bullets on the xenith

Will wait for that :wink::+1:

Is that a Xenith?

Looks sort of similar to what I’ve seen but it’s hard to tell.

If it is, flashing 23.46 has done the trick each time.

@xsynatic this might make you happy

Is there anything we need to know about 23.46? Anything like the duty cycle bug we had a little while ago on 5.1?

a duty cycle bug on 5.1? i havent had that issue personally on my xenith

It wasn’t a bug so much as a “very bad default value” on an advanced setting.

oh yea when Jared said double check to make sure ur duty cycle was set to 95% which is 100% on board throttle.
