Installing Tomiboi foot clamp on drop deck?

I have a drop deck. I am installing the tomiboi foot clamp, front only. I stand with foot canted at approx 45 degrees. This makes the mounting somewhat compromised. Should I fashion an angled block, to make it parallel with standing area? Or am I just inventing problems?

You will need to narrow your stance if you want to make it work the proper way

You can mount it on the inside of your foot instead of the outside.

I actually prefer it that way. It feel quite good.

I think @AlexB did something for his drop down

I thought of that, but youd need a left foot for right foot right?

Yeah that’s right. Do you only have the right foot binding?

I have left foot as that one is forward. how about mounting it on the elevated flat, and have it jut backwards?

Never mind, since my left foot is at 45 angle, there is JUST enough room to mount it on foot area in left upper corner. It is JUST perfect. Any less than 45 angle and it wouldnt work.

Ill take a pic when mounted, as many will use them on drop decks.

Correct. I took @zero_ads’ idea and did similar. I’m running a Tomiboi Deathtoll drop down deck and printed an angled block that I modeled so I could mount the toe clip on the drop and get my foot more forward. Originally I had it back on the flat part of the deck but I gave up valuable real estate.
