Interesting that the pulleys held up so well, what weather/terrain conditions did you use these in?

I’ve used printed pulleys before, though not at this size, and they held up remarkably well up until they were used in the rain on a gritty/sandy path, seemed to sandpaper the teeth down extremely quickly at that point.

Has anyone found a source of decent bearings to suite these hubs. The factory ones are trash.

What about them is trash? Just rolling friction or was it seizing and rattling and generally not rolling well?

If rolling friction, then don’t bother changing them because it actually helps last longer.

If actual rolling issues then get any abec 3 or above bearings with RS seal.

I ride them in all weather condition. Actually this is the one that I take when it’s raining outside. My other DD board battery is not enclosed so I only ride that in dry weather.

I think it lasted this long because I had put a layer of super glue on the teeth and I generally don’t make the belt too tight.

I have similar tires. What are you talking about when you say chamfering the edge with the valve ? Why would not doing this cause a flat?

The edges of the two half moons on the hubs that let the valve pass through. If those edges are sharp, they can cut the tube at the base of the valve stem.

"3D printed pulley (Any teeth count from 42 to 60) https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/14AF8h_PFzBTdH6JRkKynJ70I3WzezC0N "

Can you help me out either with a new stl if I give you the teeth count or send me the file I can work with?

I’ve just changed my setup, swapped to 12 ID bearings so I can run these wheels on Matrix IIs, but now I don’t have the right size belts. So I either need to change the teeth count or wait the 2+ weeks for new belts to arrive before I can ride again! Your thingiverse file only offers stl for 50T or 60T and I don’t have permission to your old link on google drive that indicates I can edit the tooth count.

Awesome pulley, I’ve got a couple hundred kilometers with no problems on my old setup with BN220s, besides wheelbite which has nothing to do with the pulley and everything to do with why I’m going to Matrix IIs.

Why are your rear tires backwards?

I just threw them on to check belt length, direction doesn’t matter if I can’t ride the board.

I’ll give you the file if you give me the teeth count.

Thanks, are the limits 42-60T?

44T for my 330 belt and 64T for my 390 belt.

hey im wondering, i need to make a pulley for my wheels, and since you have all the dimensions of the teeth, do you want to hand me over the solidworks or 360 file? preferrably the 44t?
