This is how I felt with the initial hypertruck bushing (can’t remember what color those were). I changed them out for the white in the rear and the blues in the front. Changed everything for me especially after breaking them in. I love this setup now!

I can get better pics sometime. I’m just in the process of moving so my stuff is thrown around 2 states at the moment.

I thought that the whites were softer than the blue? Shouldn’t they go in the front?

NVM, I’m a dummy.

Ok cool! Thanks @SeanHacker. Ill try swapping those too! Right now ive got green in the back and white in the front. Getting the kingpin? (Whatever that diagonal giant nut is i assume its the kingpin) out was proving difficult, and i didnt want to get into a spot where i was stuck so i didnt really fight it too hard (im in a hotel with basic basic tools, haha).

And @Creavenger ill get you some tonight for sure!

Also, does anyone know what the kaly tip angle is by chance? The hs-11 is 35*. Could that have anything to do with things?

Im more curious than anything.

Never!!!

Don’t worry about the kingpin to change out these bushings. Underneath there is one hex bolt for each bushing. Once you get one of them out, the other comes out even easier. Makes changing them out not super annoying.

I give you… the nightmare. Because thsts what this thig has been. :weary::joy:

Its a trampa hs11 fatboi 16 ply deck with lacroix hypertrucks, stormcore 60d and a 12s7p p42a from eBoosted. Originally i was going to go with the setup Sean had, but soldering the phase wites proved damn impossible, so i had to drop back, and punt as they say. A new set of motors and a new stormcore later, and i finally got her up and running. Still trying to diagnose the quirks, such ss the crappy ride, but overall, for my first DIY, i guess it could have gone worse. Haha! Thanks again Sean! @Creavenger @SeanHacker

Oh shit. It’s those baseplates maybe? I swear the blue ones are set at a higher height than the red ones that I have. Those are for the big batteries on lacroix boards to make clearance for the batteries. So I’m thinking that may be the issue?

I would definitely give those white and blue bushings a try and see if maybe they help a bit. Would most likely at the least be able to carve better than the stiff ones.

Looks pretty dope on the trampa deck! Its probably the bushings that cause the trouble, but another thing I want to point out is that the trampa deck doesnt have any concave and since you dont have bindings either controlling the deck is probably a bit harder too.

@SeanHacker oh really?! I didnt think there was any difference! That might be it. I took the riser out and I swapped the bushings for blue in the front and white in the back, so well see what happens (id have never figured thst out onmy own, its stupid easy!!) hopefully after work today ill get a short ride in and we’ll have a verdict.

Thats a good point too about the concave, but with the riser in the front things changed drastically for the better. Were gonna find out soon!

@SeanHacker hooooly shit. I think you nailed it with the trucks being different! If you look really closely even on the website, the red has a shorter front, causing the deck to sit closer and the headlights to be realitvely higher in proportion!

waaait, I’ve seen that video in the sandrunner thread few months ago

Once again @SeanHacker is the man! Blues in front whites in back, no riser… carves like a well oiled champ! :joy:

Must me something with the white/green combo, because that was a SHIT ride.

Awesome guys!!! Glad you got it figured out! I
have the entire lineup of bushings. Im using green/ white, I weigh 150lbs. Also the bushings break in after about a month and ride better.

Well. Its figured, but lacroix doesnt sell the plates seperate anymore, which is a major letdown. I want to see what the difference is, but im definitely not shelling out $850 for a new set of trucks, LOL. They have them, theyre interchangeable, but not for sale.
