IDEA - Deck with Brackets

interesting choice, is the dome head sticking out too much to be uncomfortable during ride?

It does not bother me, but it depends on individual feelings and the type of sole in the shoes

Love your designs. Cool to see all the different truck applications. It’s like legos for esk8.

Hoping to incorporate this deck into one of my future builds.

Any thoughts on building split angles into your channel truck adapters?

It’s true, it’s like lego blocks

I designed the concept of 4 different boards with completely different characteristics

I have had the classic version for over a year, the mini cruiser should be ready in 2 weeks… and the other 2 are just a concept for now

I do not know what exactly you have in mind, can you send an example photo?

If you mean an angle change built into the brackets, I designed something like this.

I designed a truck with 2 parallel kingpins (noSno type) for the mini criuser version, but I didn’t know what bracket angle to choose, so for the test version I redesigned the base plate and brackets so that the angle of the truck could be changed

First version

and redesigned bracket and baseplate

The prototype version made of aluminum is slightly different, I will post pictures when I finish the prototype

Didn’t have a new board planned but this changed it all, gotta build a new one soon on your platform! So many options an every part looks amazing :stuck_out_tongue:

New prototype bracket and baseplate with adjustable angle for cruiser

I just need to finish the hanger and the tests can begin

very elegant angle adjustment :ok_hand:

Yes, that is exactly what I was referring to! I love this design. What are the different angle adjustment options and what hangers are these compatible with?

Curious what size pneumatic tires are on that 3link board?

Angle change is every 4.7 degrees

Baseplate is a part for my hangers, if this solution works I will design a similar solution for RKP trucks, which I am also working on now

I think they are Trampa tires 6.5 inches

man oh man oh man. This is sexy! Would this be possible to have a double stack enclosure under? Is there clearance under the deck for that?

That is really cool. So it looks like there are 2 adjustment settings in each direction. If the base angle is set at 30’, does that mean the angle adjustment range is from 20.6’ to 39.4’?

Have you electrified this yet? Curious to see a review on how this rides.

The base angle is 35 degrees, the additional angles are. 30,3, 39,7, 44,4

You can reverse the hangers, then it will be higher (I don’t know if I haven’t checked)

I could also modify the baseplate a bit to make it higher, that would increase the ground clearance

oh man, that angle system is niice. What hangers are you using for this?

If you make something like this for BN 270 hangers, let me know!

Perhaps I will design a similar one for SR RKP, I don’t know if BN will be compatible

Will these trucks pictured be available soon?

It depends on whether they pass the tests
