i think i have an obsession now

Dont have a dremel or a saw.

You only need a drill and a file. Or just a file and a nail.

Epoxy helps A LOT.

I only have a drill and a wood saw, but i need an excuse to get my dad to buy me a dremel. I luckily dont have to pay for tools.

Use a roto zip bit in your drill. Cuts aluminum perfect.

bump ill take any single vesc actually. The one ā€œruleā€ is that the max dimensions are 90x180x22. I dont really need a heatsink on it as my enclosure is just aluminum. Iā€™ll use some thermal pads and hot glue to hold it down.

Hot glue could melt if itā€™s holding a heatsink down.

I had connectivity issues when my VX1 remote receiver was in a metal enclosure, so definitely be careful with that!

Yeah, I was gonna stick my antenna out of the enclosure with a teeny tiny hole.

Good point, Iā€™ll find a way to adhere it down but I just need a very small vesc.

If small is your goal, MakerX are worth a look

Flipsky MiniFSESC 4.20 as well

I wouldnā€™t drive those past 25A batt max

my battery is a 10s1p of 30q, wouldnā€™t do that anyways

Oh yeah LoL

I personally wouldnā€™t run that past 15A but definitely donā€™t exceed 20A

Got everything I wanted, please close the thread.
