Dont have a dremel or a saw.
You only need a drill and a file. Or just a file and a nail.
Epoxy helps A LOT.
I only have a drill and a wood saw, but i need an excuse to get my dad to buy me a dremel. I luckily dont have to pay for tools.
Use a roto zip bit in your drill. Cuts aluminum perfect.
bump still looking for a mini vesc of some sort, preferably the lower amperage makerx/fsesc mini 4.xx
bump also expanding this to torqueboards ESC or mini fsesc.
bump ill take any single vesc actually. The one āruleā is that the max dimensions are 90x180x22. I dont really need a heatsink on it as my enclosure is just aluminum. Iāll use some thermal pads and hot glue to hold it down.
Hot glue could melt if itās holding a heatsink down.
I had connectivity issues when my VX1 remote receiver was in a metal enclosure, so definitely be careful with that!
Yeah, I was gonna stick my antenna out of the enclosure with a teeny tiny hole.
Good point, Iāll find a way to adhere it down but I just need a very small vesc.
If small is your goal, MakerX are worth a look
Flipsky MiniFSESC 4.20 as well
I wouldnāt drive those past 25A batt max
my battery is a 10s1p of 30q, wouldnāt do that anyways
Oh yeah LoL
I personally wouldnāt run that past 15A but definitely donāt exceed 20A
Got everything I wanted, please close the thread.
