I need better trucks...

280 lbs. I’m not fat. I’m big bone.lol The axles always bend on me. When i was 16 yrs old. I was 220lbs. If these new trucks fail on me too. I might have to make my own trucks and Urethane wheels on CAD. 12mm axles is probably my only hope.

Your tires probably absorb the impact. I use Urethane wheels for street.

Do you do slides and tricks ? If not and if range is not a limitant factor you can go with small pneummies like bergs, feels nice and spares both your hangers and knees

I was thinking of doing AT wheels or something that doesn’t affect my range. I get 55 miles of range. Since I like riding street. I don’t know what to choice. Currently, I’m working overtime, so I could buy my need trucks. If I have extra money left. let me know what is good for street and range.

Have you checked whats available for pulleys and mounts for the trucks and hubs?

Im willing to bet Savage1 TKP have the strongest 10mm axels because he designed a larger shoulder that interfaces with the face of the hangar ends.

I have not heard of any bent ones other than being run into butbs/walls at high speed

on a given setup your range with pneumatics would be about half what you get with urethanes,
bergs and other 135mm wheels used to be trendy, but I’ve been out on the toppic for a while, I think there is a lot of new hubs into the game

edit:
there are a couple of options that clames to be a good compromise between the two worlds, from the top of my head the iwonder cloudwheels and momentum ariless wheels
maybe also moestage’s ruber wheels but those ones will be expensive and not durable, mostly aimed at racing

:flushed:

well, bergs tires are officially 145 but I’m pretty sure at the recomanded pressure they are closer to 135 once you’ve stepped on the board
could be mistaking though, I got the 135 value out of memory, the 145 I got from google because you made me doubt xD

It looks like boundmotor trucks came out. Anyone try it yet ?

  1. 10mm axles (changeable)
  2. 260mm length.
  3. Comes with precision clamp.
  4. Compatible with caliber II baseplate and else.

I just need the material for the axles and grade.

I need to buy one with high quality axles. Deadline is tomorrow. Lol

So what are the best trucks for high speed stability for those under the 120kg/264lb weight limit? RKP or Channel Trucks?

Also I have Lacroix w/ Hypertrucks and was hoping angled wedged risers would do the trick for 5 bucks instead of $300+ lol but whatever is best for safety at high speed stability 45mph +.

Wedged hypertrucks are definitely viable. I have my nazare on a +5/-5 that i 3d printed and they work great.
