No we don’t, to be honest.
However I bent the 6061 version, haven’t had any bent ones since we switched. It could be designed out and be 6061/6068 but then you end up with a bigger/heavier truck. It does cost more though, ouch!

Just to clear the air, I am a mechanical engineer, and tool & die maker of 25 years. I might have some insight and experience
Just love the sport!
Yeah I guessed you had some background which is why I asked in the first place if you had real world experiance.
No need to clear the air - no offence taken here what so ever. I enjoy the debate!
I don’t know… Trying to get answers!
it would be cool if their board can change drive system
Cool! I feel debate is good for the community, if nothing else, to make diy better for all of us!
Those are 5.9 inch pneumatics
They will test 5 inches afterwards
I was asking Pedro about it yesterday.
Anyhow, founders will probably receive a set for free once they’re done testing and then it will be available on their website.
I’ll ask about the aluminum choice and see if he responds
They’ll post it on YouTube soon.
But I keep pestering them for more info everyday so here It is guys
VanHeelSingWolf has this to say about his experience on the board- copied from his Reddit post
I think being about to toe-in the wheels is pretty cool
Blockquote The board is awsome i am in love with it so far. I did some off-road yes and for solid wheels it does a tremendous good job. Haven’t done the range test as the weather hasn’t been kind here lately. The best thing about the board for me is that their trucks is way more customizable then standard trucks its has the normal bushing settings but they also have the ability to toe-in the wheels the same way a racing car does for added stability
Yes i am one of the original founders.
Off-roading is more capable then what one may think for solid wheels, the suspension does a good job with bigger hole and more uneven terrain with that said you clearly feel the vibrations from small rocks on the trail but i feel one can actually endure it for quite a long time because the rest of the stuff is taken cared as i stated before.
The motors do have enough force for sure but obviously since the wheels have no grooves some type of gravel if you don’t decrease the throttle the wheels will spin in place but nothing you can’t control with body balance and throttle control.
Overall for Off-roading is more capable then your typical longboard but the AT wheels will transform it in a amazing all terrain beast

I would think AT wheels would transform it into something that couldn’t make it up any incline. Unless it was 4x4 of course.
was the goal of that video to not show how the AT wheels were put on the drive hubs…
I personally tested the board going up a steep gravely/off road incline (maybe 15/20 deg?) and it more than held its own, with the urethane wheels.
The AT wheels will be small, so I’m not expecting a big loss in torque. The board will gain traction though. That’s not to say you can compare it to an Apex or Trampa, of course - that’s not the purpose of these boards.
The picture of the at wheels are sunmate 6” though Ricardo? That’s a hell of a big ask for hubs/direct drives?
Well they are in the testing stages only
They’ll move onto smaller pneumatics and probably find the best fit for the board.
City commute on rough roads or cobble stone would be nice on AT + suspension
I dont think the hunter is built for serious off roaring anyways
They were talking a while ago of testing 4.5" tyres. Not sure where they are at with that though.
They would be a better fit I’m sure. If someone made a 4.5" wheel/tyre then I’m sure they’d sell like hot cakes as long as they’d fit regular axles.
Amen to that
People said the same thing about 5" before Hoyt made one, lol.
You’re right.
Perhaps I shoulda said budget wheel/tyre. Which I know is not an option in small quantities.
