How to fix the motor

Hi i messed up i have sensor wires that i neet to solder back togetter.
i got the can of but i dont know how to take of the "top plate of so I can reach the small wires under it.

This part from the stator? I think it’s called.

Oo the motor are

Left flipsky’s 6354
Right TB 6355
Yepp Bigg difference in hight.

Yup… everyone thinks their all the same

The top part is usually one piece and the stator is epoxied to it. My name for it not sure what it’s actually called. It’s one piece so typically your best bet is a new motor. Not sure if anyone else has tried.

I would just take out all old sensor wires and solder new ones to the pcb. Way much easier to take the part off you don’t know how to.

I’ve done this before. Gently pull these out and away.

Then run the other cut ends through the hole of the motor where the originally go through. That should give you enough room to solder them back together.

Just make it pretty and reassemble the motor.

Why aren’t esk8 motor sizes not based on stator size like quad motors???

Typically, because total length of a motor is easier to remember. But yeah, stator size should be included too.

Same goes for 6374 they are most likely using a 10mm smaller stator.
