So I’ve heard some esk8 horror stories of stolen boards thats 500-5000 just gone, If you’re looking at this thread your either bored, looking for a missing board or scared of losing your board sadly this won’t help those with boards currently lost. I used this method with a regular skateboard once and I was able to go to the person’s house and claim my board. but if you buy a tracker made for keys and slip it in your enclosure and you can find your board quickly with in-app tracking
Problem with that is someone with bluetooth enabled and the tile app needs to pass close enough to your board to actually find it. If it’s a congested city it works well but not in a rural area.
There are other designs that use a sim card and use GPS but those require a subscription service where you pay every month.
