How many poles does a BRH5065 200 kV have?

Hello everyone,

I have a quick question, does anyone know how many poles does a brh5065 motor have? Link is below

I know I can count them, but I don’t want to open the motor.
Thanks in advance for info.

How about calculating it as erpm/rpm?

Erpm is measured by vesc, rpm could be measured using optical tachograph or by using micro, piece of tape and audacity

lots of people have used those you can find a picture of them apart on here I bet.

guessing a lot of other motors that size are also 14p

That is a great idea, I forgot about that formula: poles = ERPM/ RPM

It’s easy to count, if someone is reading this thread. If it’s used and has dirt on the can, you can see outlines of the magnets in the dirt… Count them…

But a Racerstar BRH5065 200Kv has 14 poles or seven pole pairs.

I confirm 7 pairs and 14 poles

Thanks everyone, I noted it down

Cheers

By the way, also you could use simple magnet and move it over can and count places where it is being dragged by magnets. Then multiply by 2 and there is your number of poles
