How do you secure your loopkey?

That’s perfect, not too much.

Be careful here in your mutual ozzie soldering masturbation.

You are fully triggering Brian. His solder skills are full Brazzers

Could you help explain a bit

Very possibly triggering Brian. But he yields the power to defend the electronics from the liquid aftermath of the masturbation, a skill I am yet to acquire.

Do that.

Huh?.

This is waterproofed at the PCB level… then it’s sealed in this case… then it’s sealed in an enclosure. Even if saltwater is on the PCB it still should work.

This is ready for submarine duty

Try soldering that. There is a little secret behind. :smirk:

Solder skill level: socks blown away

Did you wrap with copper foil?

Yep. Wire loop

So much silicone. My mortal enemy.

When I’m done with my board, it will be coated in silicone. The enclosures.

Yeah silicone sucks for serviceability.

But it sure works really, really well for some things.

Also annoying how long it takes to cure. And how long it CAN take to remove later. (Sometimes it just peels right off in one piece, if you’re lucky)

I love silicone for it’s practical purposes. I hate it for it’s inability to look pretty. Or for my lack of skill to beautify it.

I made this for my MOV-E deck. The xt90 is a friction fit in the 3d print:)

I like that the charge port is covered from debris by the loopkey.
