Ends of the wire stand broke off too, maybe I really need to give it time to settle at heat in the solder.

Sugru. Kinda pricey but easy to work with and very durable.
Or shrink wrap and fill the gap with silicone.
I put mine in my butt… secure as fuck… no one ever pops it out!

I’m no expert, but I thought this was pretty good.
My later efforts were better though (XT90 not loopkey).
Soldering definitely helps to keep the wires in there 
I put too much solder in this one, but it sure looks nice

So I made my loopkey before thinking about 3d printing a holder does anyone have a design which accepts around 3-5cm of wire

Just coat the wires in jbweld…
One layer at a time, use gravity in your favor, and be creative
