my loopkey, 2+ years of use

Ends of the wire stand broke off too, maybe I really need to give it time to settle at heat in the solder.

yeah looks like not being soldered well, just soldering a few strands

I use a unicorn carcass to hide embarrassing wires. The mane is extra grippy. (@Jansen for prices :wink:

Sugru. Kinda pricey but easy to work with and very durable.

Or shrink wrap and fill the gap with silicone.

I put mine in my butt… secure as fuck… no one ever pops it out!

I’m no expert, but I thought this was pretty good.

My later efforts were better though (XT90 not loopkey).

Soldering definitely helps to keep the wires in there :joy:

So I made my loopkey before thinking about 3d printing a holder does anyone have a design which accepts around 3-5cm of wire

Just coat the wires in jbweld…

One layer at a time, use gravity in your favor, and be creative :crazy_face:
