I’ll correct what I said. I was actually using bronze bushings- although I also have oil-embedded I didn’t use those.
These were used probably for 100 miles or so (at least that probably more). You can see wear on both surfaces and these were greased pretty well.
Bushing needs to be sacrificial in this setup. I suspect the abrasions I’ve cause won’t extend the life of the polymer bushings any longer so I went ahead and got a bag of Iglide M250 from Igus. Thanks @DerelictRobot
