I found this image and thought it would be an amazing launching point for an automobile themed board.
What do you guys think? Definitely not currently in my wheelhouse of skills. But it did get me thinking maybe one of you could see this and feel insppired.
I thought maybe it’ll spark some thought amongst DIY builders.

I could do it, just seems like a stretch for my first board build. the enclosure and deck would be one piece, the top would obviously be more flat than the pictured vehicle. I would totally want to keep the fender and tire fitment look, but it would need more ground clearance for sure. I’ll have to try and sketch it out tonight.
Keep in mind that due to how trucks turn, your tire envelope will be significantly larger than a car and will throw proportions off in terms of fenders or bodywork.

ah yes, you’ve taken the little symbol clanging monkey in my head (he got excited) and you’ve calmed him down and now he’s thinkin clearly. You’re right, there’s gonna need to be some damn wheel gap… 
So I guess the outcome of this post is now just, it might look cool to give a deck/enclosure some vehicular body line type flow. hmmm… we shall see what designs/sketches we can come up with.
You could probably make something work with fendered open wheel race cars. Won’t be perfect but being able to attach the fenders onto the trucks themselves will help tighten the lines.
