So I have an acedeck horizon with a 14s8p 50s in it. Great board but I’m hoping to get more performance out of it. From what I can see in the remote settings, it appears that the ESC supports up to 20s packs, so I was thinking of throwing an 18s6p RS50 pack in there. Anyone see any issues with this?
It probably can’t handle it. It’s easy to put the settings in the remote without them corresponding to the actual ESC

According to acedeck this is correct! I have pivoted. Im now going to get a 14s8 box batt built and run it as an aux pack. 80 miles actual range.
Also I’ve realized that the horizon is quite powerful enough if current settings are maxed out in the remote
Yeah I’d say that its very unlikely that it will accept a 20s (or 18s) battery. If you are curious about it I would reach out to Acedeck directly. Better to reach out than it would be to kill the ESC.
