Help with Vesc and Flipsky VX4 pro

Hello,

I’m new to this forum, so if did anything wrong please tell me.

I bought a v1 boosted board and am planing to build it into a stealth longboard for going to work, the supermarket etc. To actually be able to use the board I need a way to quickly limit it to 6kmh to get around the e mobility laws here in Germany. I would like to use the remote via uart to get speed and all the other telemetry, acording to ai it’s not really easily feasible to read the throttle position when the remote is plugged in to uart. I have let ai write me a lisp script that limits erpm when the brake gets pulled 5 times and returned to the 0 position in les than 3 seconds but the ai can’t seem to find a way to write it in a way that will work with the remote in uart. Does anyone have an Idea on how to quickly and permanently get a speed limit written into the vesc? Also I don’t have the space in the enclosure to put an extra microcontroller in there as I am trying to reuse the stock boosted enclosures. At this point I am kinda stuck, so im open to any suggestions you guys have.

cool project man ! i also thaught About including a speed limiter on my board because yall know how it is now in Eu :sob: i didn’t really look for a solution but i quickly asked gemini, he told me there is something possible with the Gpio pins and the vesc app to program them, i let you check that with gemini and and look it up further, hit me up if you find a solution, i‘ll look it up by my side too :raising_hands:
