Help, my esk8 shuts off when I climb a slope

you probably need a battery that has more cells in parallel so that you get less voltage sag when you are drawing a steady 50-60a or more battery amps while climbing.

the thing is that I wasn’t drawing so many amps. more or less like in this photo.

With the Evolve gtr a friend climbs the same slopes with me without problem. the batteries are similar 10s4p both.

does the evolve have a lower battery current limit per motor?

I dont know what the Evolve maxs are, is a commercial GTR…

This sentence stands out like a sore thumb to me. It sounds like you need to open up your enclosure and poke about (please, no metal pokey bits. Plastic only.) to check for loose connections.

If you dont feel comfortable doing this, the community should be able to provide you with some instructions.

Make sure if youre worried about the battery or your skill that you do this outside :+1:

i assume a commercial board with 50v battery & 2 motors in the US is limited to 20a bat per motor for 1000w total

thanks, I think I’m going to do that to see if there is something weird…

what do you suggest for a 50a cont. discharge BMS with 6374s 60/16t 10s5p 10A max discharge LG MH1 cells.
