Help! 5 pins connector doesn't fit on my VESC.

So I brought this motor on Ebay.
C6374 efficience sensored brushless motor 170KV for electric skateboard US SHIP

I just noticed the connector is 5 pins and my Vesc is 6 pins.
How do I connect the wires? Do I have to match the color(I removed the white wire. I know is temp)?

This is the only thing that’s holding me back.

If it only has 5 pins it doesn’t have a temp sensor.

Red and black are red and black, the 3 other colours are the hall sensors. The order of the hall sensors doesn’t matter.

You should be able to find a schematic for your particular vesc that will specify which pins are which on the vesc side

You plan on splicing them together or what?

You can easily just swap the jst connectors. If you didnt know that

The wires is short base on my board length.lol

This is fine?

What’s your soldering look like under those? You dont want any solder bumps rubbing through the shrink into another wire. Could always double shrink wrap them though to be safer.

Base on my license. It looks fine.lmao. I just didnt know how to wire it.

Here it is. Its written on paper, it must be true.

To clarify: every battery I have ever built has been under the influence

This latest batch will be the first batteries I have ever built sober.

I like how they cover the 5 pins connector with heatshrink. I will literally copy it from my screen but I cant.lol It’s like they knew I was about to do that.
