I use 2 Olight PL-Mini 2 Valkyrie 600 lumens and they are very bright, especially for their tiny size… they literally blind people and with Kaly’s light stand you don’t have the option to point them down a bit. They are very useful in pitch black, but the shadows created by stones or small potholes could get you confused. However, not sure I would go for a helmet light… I think it’s too much for my taste.
I wish someone would build one in to a helmet nicely. It eliminates the shadows made by low lights and weird terrain by being so high up. Definitely not sleek though.
Well, since there are a lot of different helmets out there, it would be quite tricky to make a light stand that fits them all… maybe if you were to glue the light to the helmet, not necessarily something I would do.
I am thinking to make a glove with a light on it for the front arm… it would be high enough…
I had a light on my remote and loved the flexibility. Iron man glove sounds even better.
hmm… I didn’t know there were remotes with light on them… that must be pretty cool!
I had to epoxy it on.
And it was very cool… Until I fell and popped it clean off. That remote is Nano coated with magic for waterproofing and popped the epoxy off clean.
It looked pretty cool! You should re-glue it… use some sand paper before!
