I’d say add it only if you notice the magnets feeling loose. I’d test by trying to pry them off with low to medium force. If they don’t budge then I wouldn’t bother since it is a pain in the ass to remove and epoxy the magnets back in place since they alternate poles so they love to try and pull towards the magnets next to each other.

They are great when they work. But often cause issues. Eliminate one more connection/potential problem area.

What’s the advantage of HFI over VSS? Seems like VSS can be set up so much easier.
