I am also waiting for a response, but I was pretty late to the game
Yup still waiting. I dm’d him too after emailing… Hope i wasnt too slow to put order in…
I sent him a email about 6 days ago with the requested info. No response on the order.
He’s probably just swamped with orders then. Guy got a lot on his plate atm
Also waiting for response. Sent mail 7th of July
Still waiting. I was also pretty late in the game.
Maybe I should ask for blue to make him show up, or that pinky red.
@haggyboard.timo we miss you, call home!
If anyone in the US is going to get stuff, can you get a pair of the sensor cables and forward them to me? Obviously I’ll cover the difference
Having trouble threading this shoulder bolt all the way into the hanger. The other three all went in with minimal effort. Anyone else having issues?
@haggyboard.timo any suggestions? I was using an allen key through the hole at the end of the shoulder bolt, but this one took so much effort that I snapped off the allen key haha.
If you can, open it up and check that the threads and hanger hole are clean of any debris.
Already checked, and I didnt see anything obstructing. Kind of hard to see into aa blind hole like this so if anything small is gumming up the threads, I wouldnt be able to see it.
Can you try to run a tap and die on the hanger and axle threads?
try a little lube? Anyone with OG boardnamics hangers knows what’s up.
Dont have one, and I would have to find out the thread pitch of this shoulder bolt. Worried that it will come to this though.
Ill give that a shot, thanks!
Lube may not be what you want, I had the same issue on one side & simply ran it in and out a few times, it’s probably a burr on the female hanger. Get it out and put a cleaned soldering tip inside the hanger and try my method
Have tried this. A lot of this haha.
Yeah probably
Im not sure what you are saying here?
Anyone?
Did you try the axle in another truck to make sure it was an issue with the truck and vice versa?
I noticed on one of my kits one axle sticks out by maybe 0.5 mm or so. I rode it for a year without noticing until I decided to do a full tear down.
The idea behind that would be to heat up the hanger female side which makes it slightly expand, this allows the male threaded axle shaft to turn in with a bit more clearance before it cools down.
Ensure if using a soldering iron that the tip is clean as you do not want a glob of solder left in there.
Alternatively use a heat gun
