This trick of adding stuff to your cart, adding an email so they can contact you, and waiting for the “come back! We have discounts!” email works quite often. Hopefully this isn’t already old info

It’s a Shopify (and probably other e-commerce platforms) thing. Shopify pretty heavily pushes vendors on their platform to implement it, so it’s a decent chance that if someone’s shop is hosted by Shopify, this trick will work.

Ah cool cool, I couldn’t remember the name for that “storefront in a box” they all seem to use. I’m not mad on a load of different rando sites having my contact info and even my address, but I think the data privacy ship has sailed years ago so I’ll just take the discounts and live with it
