duude. I haven’t even made that much when i worked full time.

How are you all doing stuff that sells good. People do cnc, batteries, custom boards and here i am. Unemployed wasting his tiny bit of money he has to live on esk8 parts he doesn’t need.

No clue. I thought it was stupid but the first time she posted a photo of it she got 6 orders that night and it’s just snowballed. I think people really like that they’re customized. A lot of people get their Instagram name or logo done. Unfortunately that means I can’t just make a mold of one shape and make them for pennies. I do get a lot of cad practice though.

Can you explain a little more on what they do? Are they like bath bomb molds? How much do you charge?

And another 6 orders rolled in… this time molds in the forms of skateboards.

No ripping off our side hustle!

So they make solid bubble bath in these things called bubble bars. Everyone was holding them in a strainer while relaxing in the tub to make mad bubbles. Wifey complained about having to hold a sieve out for a few minutes while it dissolves so I made a hangey basket that holds on to the tub stopper.

$15 each for a basket, goes up for specialty filaments.
Then there’s wholesale prices for orders of 10 or more. We’re actually in 3 physical store fronts now

I make molds too but not as often.

WOW now that’s a GOOD DEAL INDEED. We’re not derailing.

Follow up question: did the idea come before or after you bought your first printer?

After. I was in this weird phase of 3d printing stupid knick knacks for my house and one worked out.

ShowerBeerÂŽ is still in the works.

Thanks for the answers! Still trying to convince my gf that I totally did not buy a printer just to print penises and that it has plenty of possible uses

Need a European distributor?

I sure could use one. Problem is we have a gazillion color options and that would be an expensive start up.

What the approximate weight of one/ How many can you get out of a 1kg spool? Maybe start small in select and more basic colors or order spools for special orders on demand to see if the European market even shows interest.

I saw a couple of battery websites, here. Any similarly good ones over in the EU? Since the ones above don’t really ship to the EU

Lol they show too much interest. I feel bad when shipping is almost the price of a basket. They weigh around 7 oz packaged.

Also have to consider the fact that someone would have my files and could steal my business :imp:

For batteries in the EU people usually order from either https://www.fogstar-wholesale.co.uk/ or https://www.nkon.nl/

True. Definitely needs to be one who you can trust and not another jeff.

I like the idea

***not the stealing.

If you ever want to try it hmu

Thanks for the battery tip! Got way too many coming for a (12s or 14s8p) efoil pack and a diy (12s1p or 2p) onewheel pack. Free ship over $500

I actually work at at a 3D printing business here in the EU if that’s something you genuinely wanted to pursue. Heck, we’re already full of filament and printers :joy:
