After hobbyking closed their EU warehouse I was looking for somewhere to get connectors, ideally that doesn’t give money to that bald bond supervillain with the dick rockets.

These folks ship quickly and cheaply, and they don’t seem to have heard of minimum order quantities. Lots of amass stuff, not as cheap as AliExpress I think, but a bit of a lifesaver

They opened it back up. (or are currently in the process of doing so)

Received mine and took on a test ride.
Went from Bergs to 200x50 on my pnum boards and always missed that snappy response of a smaller wheel.
These feel like a happy medium and the price is fantastic, will be getting another set. :ok_hand:

Same 78T pulleys from my 8" setup, so speed is only 45km/h for now and clearance is a bit scary.

PS they come with 45 degree valves, so could be annoying on some rims.

how’s the wheel wobble? Balanced alright?

Roll nice and smooth, no wobbles.

I always gravity balance all tires.
Tried these without any weights and they still felt perfectly fine.
Probably doesn’t matter much at those speeds…

I believe @Skyart uses the 150mm hotas as the standard option for his magnetic race board. I rode them briefly on his board at carve and they felt extremely smooth and well balanced. If you want a 150mm pneumatic, I think those are the best choice out there.

Yep, I rode that board for a little, and I also had a set on my board. I agree with all you said about them they are pretty good, they are just too small for how bad the roads are where I live but otherwise, I would use them. I have been able to get pretty good launches on them, they ride very differently than the 7" tires that he has, and there isn’t much flex when turning.

Regarding the wear question in my original post, they are better than I expected and are pretty good, they have a deeper tread than I was expecting.

Thanks, for now broke and stubborn, my extra thick tubes are allowing me to use up the stack of bkb tires I have on hand, when they are gone I’ll venture into new tires.
I’m going to Iceland in February ( if volcanic activity allows) I’m trying to save up, it’s kinda embarrassing to have your girl pay for everything, not that I’m some sexiest mind you.

I have learned to power slide my thane board, near death expert here, can’t wait to crash doing it so you guys can chuckle ( I’m good at crashing,do whatever you best at)
