These ones have been up for like a week now. $200 seems steep

Don’t rly know if it’s a good deal, seems cool but wtf are thoseeee

Edit, as I thought, those are pretty cool. Still might only be a decent deal though, maybe not quite “good.”

Sunlu is sitting on a filament order from me for 5 days now, has that happened to anyone else? I never had that problem before with them, usually they would ship the next day.

Maybe?

That is an unfortunate blue.

What am I missing here? Is there some significant draw back to 3s2p packs?

3s 15ah Lipo packs for $70 a piece. Buy 4 and make a 12s pack.

Limited-time deal: Zeee Premium Series 3S Lipo Battery 15000mAh 11.1V 100C Soft Case RC Battery EC5 Connector with Metal Plates for RC Car Truck Tank Racing Hobby Models Amazon.com

Sorry , for context, i bought 2, 6s, 14ah tattu packs at an utter steal for about 300 delivered.

They worked out so well, that I ordered a second and third set. The blue shrink wrapped packs are 6s packs side by side with G10 (garolite) armor on the surfaces. That’s 28ah of high current draw at 12s for $650.

If I’m reading this Amazon listing and doing my math correctly, these lipos are even cheaper, have more ah capacity, lighter, smaller volume, significantly higher C ratings.

Anyway, I got 8 of them.

That 100C rating is beyond preposterous. They’re claiming a 1500A continuous rating and that’s at least four times more than what is needed to melt, literally melt, the wire leads to the pack. It could melt 2AWG wire in a few seconds.

I guess they know what people want to hear though because Big Numbers = More Better and sells lots of packs, no matter how impossible the numbers are.

Perhaps 10C is a more reasonable rating but it could still be lower than that. Hoping they work well for you though!

I know the C rating in this context is all advertising.

They do have 10ga wire leads, so that’s promising. Thanks for weighing in though.

Well…umm…the 1500A rating is about 4.5x higher than the melting current level for 10AWG leads. :slightly_smiling_face:

But I figured you didn’t believe it was a 1500A pack and 10AWG is a step up from many packs though, which often have 12AWG leads.

Melting current in what amount of time though? Kweld draws similar currents for a split second when welding, so maybe that’s what it’s rated for? :stuck_out_tongue:

I know your joking but I think its 15-30seconds usually that they test the battery for and label it “continuous” lol

Wire fusing current ratings are usually spec’d for “a few seconds”. I’ve seen 5sec and 7sec mentioned.

Wow, what a deal. Would be cool for an offroading build or a travel build.

Personally, I try to only use cylindrical cells due to their cycle life advantage in general

I bought both, just now.

For $10 you should also buy the v1 gloves. I have few pairs.
