🌓 Go-FOC DV6 / PRO <High Current Dual ESC >

I am thinking the DV6 is the issue as when I put the flipsky 6.6 back in there are zero issues in set up and power delivery on the same settings in vesctool.

Basic remote, eBay style. Very reliable though so far.

Is it PPM or UART?

I usually just install the bootloader since that is somewhat the cause at times. Happened to me on my retro. It said it wasn’t updated so I hit the bootloader and it worked.

PPM - My bad.

I’ll try that too.

It will definitely work after reading the updating issue. I’m gonna do that to mine when I get it.

Tried this and it sorted all the issues, thanks man. DV6 has been redeemed.

I’m running two DV6s in a 4wd DD and flawless so far. I hope I don’t jinx myself but seriously no issues at all. Currently running 12s at 60 motor amps -38 brake. I forgot what battery amps but pushing it highish

On a better note thanks to handsome Shua @Halbj613 I’m gonna join the fray of MakerX users soon :beers: Way to power up a build project!

Wonder if I’ll be able to run FOC at 8S and reasonable low motor and phase amps on a <70Kv motor, since I’ll be using the MiniX !

So, I got my DV6, however I have an issue with both the ppm and uart systems…

Why aren’t these working?

Edit:

The wire indication were backwards for this esc…

That was so lame…

How do you mean backwards exactly? Like the pins were reversed? The silkscreen was wrong? Or, what? I’m going to set mine up soon and don’t want to accidentally fry my metr lol

In the Retro, it was red white and black to the same connectors. But on this esc, you might need to pay attention to the stickers since now it’s kinda reversed. I just flipped the wires and it works…

Weird huh

Both are working now. So remember this, if you’re moving from one esc to another, it’s not always the same connection wires…
