response from a month ago:

So basically they got swamped with orders, way more than they expected, hit delays, and now people are being impatient due to lack of transparency

Definitely seen this before

Now the question why the website is offline and instagram has been deleted.

Worst case they ran, medium case they gave up and are giving refunds, other case, they are hiding because they don’t want to admit there are delays and they’ve already sunk a ton of money into it

Their Instagram is still there. Unknownboardsuk

Ah ok, then it’s his private account that was deleted. (Not ricky)

Almost bought from them early summer after I needed something to graduate from my Wowgo 3x. Dropped them a message and even then they didn’t seem to be in a happy place. Seen many people in other hobbies trying to move from one-offs to a business and imploding under the weight of the demand. The part shortage probably didn’t help here either. A nasty way to go.

In the end bought from Fabi. That DD Black Carve 2 is no hotrod, but it got delivered, all comms were prompt and after the first deck had an end split, they shipped me a replacement in a few days time. And they provide a proper EU 2 year warranty. Say what you want about his youtube personality, but Fabi takes good care of his customers.

I was wondering what happened to them, I followed their YouTube channel pretty closely, and honestly at least to me it kind of looked like it was doomed from the beginning. I mean they have a few thousand views on all their videos, and 1 guy doing the building. Even if they were smart to buy a bunch of controllers when they could have, 1 guy can realistically only build like 1 board every 2 days if he is going to do a decent job at it and if he also has no life. These were just my thoughts while watching their videos a few months back. Now let’s imagine they got like 10-20 orders…what if the number is 100…one word … “buried”

This is what happens when vendors are absolutely terrified of using the “out of stock” option.

Own up to your limitations, no one is judging. That’s just my 2¢

Bro I totally get what you’re saying. If in my theoretical store if I were to run out of something, I would probably switch it to out of stock, not allowing people to order, or put it on backorder, with an estimated arrival date of later than I expect it to be back in stock

None of this “in stock” but actually not arriving for 2 weeks bs

Lol with today’s china or even LA backlogs… yeah

im surprised that with the backlog everywhere, numbers of cargo ship doesn’t seem to run out yet lol

So they’ve been replying to my post on YouTube they’re alive at least  said they were doing site maintenance but it’s been more than a week since I saw they were down. Hopefully they’ll be back soon. Was torn between this and the Onsra all terrain board. May have to purchase the onsra to have something to play with in light snow and doing off-road/trail riding.

I’ve sent many e-mails about the shipment and return back but no replies. Also, no replies from Instagram and Youtube. Don’t know what happened

That’s a shame… I was rooting for them. :pensive:

They did reply recently though.

Barely communicating now does not bode well for future customer service prospects.

Yeah bad vibes. Replying doesn’t mean shit. I’m sure JedBoards are still replying too.
