Your board will get to 60mph but how fast are YOU willing to go?

I don’t want to go over 40mph! That’s why I want a low KV motor. More power at the speeds I will actually be going.

Seems to be some mixed feelings about Maytech here so I went ahead and bought what I wanted. I will report back on how they run at 16s and maybe help some of you decide.

I ended up buying this:

Hey man how are the maytechs holding up on 16s?
Is overheating a problem?

Either you have 20 inch car tires or you have smooth roads. Either way I’m interested. Going 20 on 6 inch tires is scary in new york. My board tops out at 26

you haven’t even gotten into wheel wobble territory yet lol

Well my pennyboard got a lot of wobble at 14mph when that was a thing aha

It was scary at 14mph. I wonder what people at 40mph feel. Probably a tad bit suicidal?

More or less I know if I go down there will be a really bad day after that. Prob only slightly touching 35 in my case however.

I have hundreds of miles in NYC on this board right here. Cruising over 35 often. And I’m not even that good compared to other nyc riders

Do you ride in bike lanes or the actual street? I find myself in the bike lane mostly

I almost never ride in the bike lane. Too much bullshit occurs in there.
