FWD vs RWD on Single Motor Drive

I have dual on my mountainboard…
on my commuter longboard I don’t really need it.
Also everything I currently have would have to be replaced - was hard enough to get one motor mount fitting on the bear trucks.
I would have to get another VESC etc. etc.

So not worth it for my longboard

So some smaller update…
I decided to make my lights modular with Velcro and plugs so I can quickly change front and rear lights.
Then I made a profile for FWD and RWD in the Metr App.

So basically can change from front to rear wheel drive within 20 seconds now.

Problem solved

That’s pretty smart well done, now you can compare them nicely

So yeah. what I can say now… FWD just feels and handles better… It’s not even close…

I can only imagine using RWD if I ever get bored of my board and want to feel like I am riding something “else”.

How wide is that belt there? Looks super wide, are the bearings on the idler normal 608 skateboard bearings?
