Edit: even better

I was more than half serious

Cubic zirconia would be closer to glass frit prices, and stronger than glass.

I’m by no means a pro. Maybe an “experienced amateur”?

This one is skinned top and bottom and fritted (and I wrapped the side rails in retroreflective striping tape):

This one is just frit over the stock CF, with stained side rails:

I dont have the first clue what I would charge you, and I wont promise Sender-level results, but if you’re interested you know where to find me :kissing_heart:

Sliding my way in :duck:

What do you like to use for skinning? Cloth/epoxy

That first deck used polyester white on top and cotton plaid on the bottom. I dont recommend either of those. The polyester was fine, but it got really translucent when soaked through with the epoxy. The cotton was a total pain the whole time, and took like 3x the number of coats as the polyester to get a decent surface finish.

For epoxy, i dont use anything special. Tabletop epoxy from the hardware store has done me good.
