Can you recommend a fabric type that works better than cotton? First timer and I want to get the right thing!

Test piece was a success, time to do the real thing!

Quick question, should I put the haya cover on the wood or should I keep it separate?

Is the frit you can get of off amazon good or should I be buying it from somewhere else? In addition do I want medium or fine?

I bought mine on etsy and had a good experience, there are a ton of colors and its not too expensive

I only do clear but it is because I have graphics on the top and I want it to show all the fine detail so I use fine grit. My supplier gets me a good deal on it for a 1 lbs bag

Should I go over the frit one more time after the glass step? I feel it is really sharp but idk… does it wear down after a while?

I suggest a thin coat over the frit. Will help it lock in and won’t be as sharp and pointy.

It will wear down over time but I have a board that has had the same coat that I put on a push board for 4 years and it still has plenty of grip.

Put a coat over it and it will be fine.

Hoping you still get some of this vinyl or at least some remaining righteous.

Yeah I would try it on a spare piece of wood first

Whatever you use keep in mind that you’re basically doing glass frit on the vinyl not on the deck. it’s only going to stick to the board as well as the current vinyl is because the epoxy or whatever you use isn’t going to soak through the vinyl and into the wood.

You might wanna just consider this?

Hey, that’s a perfect idea. I’m going to do a test square on some vinyl wrapped wood and report back
