Whoa you’ve had it happen while riding?!? I’ve only had it happen while the board was off.

Yes I had noticed weird issues yesterday but made it home fine. Thought it was the chains, and I re-aligned one of my motor sprockets thinking that was the problem but nope. Checked the app today and my settings reset so I fixed them; it worked fine; then 10 minutes later it switched and although I could have ridden it out, jumped off to great success.

I wonder if doing it through my PC would be better. Always done setup via bluetooth.
Also it seems like 80% of the time the app won’t let me apply settings. FFS.

Just had this happen to me as well. Not during riding but between rides the Unity just lost all settings. I am using latest Unity FW. I wonder if this happens with VESC FW as well, or only Unity FW? Any input?
By any chance did you let the board auto time out?
Not purposefully, but I noticed that the roll to start was enabled, so I might have turned on the Unity when handling the board.
I also noticed that the VX2 is messing up all config saving when UART is enabled. So if I want to change configs, I first disable UART, save, then do my changes, save, and finally re-enable UART (and save). I am getting a Hoyt Puck today and moving to PPM. Maybe that helps as well.
