Mine just arrived. The quickstart card is exactly the same as the Enertion quickstart card, right down to the URL’s and the misspelling. So that’s a good indicator that these are ex Enertion stock (if we haven’t already established that).
It powered up fine, connected via BT fine, I was able to update the firmware.
I need to solder different connectors on it, but after that I’ll calibrate, config and let you know if it drives ok.
Ok, the Unity configured and spins up both motors. Motors are nice and smooth. It’ll be a little while before I can get the board up and ready for a road test.
Does anyone know where to download the newest version of the Focbox tool for Windows (if there is such a thing - I have version 1.1, but with the new firmware on the FocBox it won’t run)?
took a punt on one of these raptorclearenceshop Unitys about three weeks ago.
Turned up today and on the face of it everything seems the same as the OG ones I got from first and second batch last year. No signs of refurbishment either. Need to connect and update next…
I won’t give that fucker my money although the unity is still the best V6 dual option ATM.what he did to the community sucks taking order while enertion was circling the drain. I will wait for TB/Stormcore 60. I still have a few OG focboxes I can use till then. #fuckshitcunts
Before all this drama I bought 2 unities legit from BuildKit boards. They were $226 ea. which is only $30 more than I paid for the RaptorClearance one.
So I’d like the Stormcore’ss to come in about the same. But I bet they price them at $350
