FLux At vs At2 diy deck enclosure systems

There are inserts molded into the inside of the enclosure, pointed out in red, I believe these are for bolting down the stock flux PCB battery. You have to cut those out and then 7P will fit. All internal and fairly easy to remove with a Dremel.

seems easy and worthwhile

I’ve got the At2 diy. Great deck, super wide and stable, it’s a keeper.

I know it will take more cells and it great having such a huge enclosure but I didn’t want a super heavy board also. Later if I need more range I can add the extra cells.

Technically, yes. Now show us practically.

I’ve done 16S7P in the same orientation. 21700 height is a little less ideal, and BMS placement above the esc is clunky but the factory method as well from my understanding. It’s overall an easier fit than plenty of other stuff I’ve done.

My in progress board has a 18s7p of 21700s. Needed to add a extra gasket because the battery ended up a little too tall

What gasket did you get?

Bought some .5" closed cell foam on amazon and cut it to size

Is a 16s6p possible on the first gen enclosure?

Yes. 18S6P would maximize the space. 16S6P would leave that room open

Hi Guys,

Could someone be kind enough to measure the AT2 battery enclosure for me. Length and max width as well as depth. It seems this info is not on the website…

Planning a DIY build.

Thanks !

18s5p in 2 different configurations
