I use a VX2 on one of my boards and the screen orientation really annoys me. You have to hold it in a very awkward way to actually see the screen. The VX3 looks very similar. I would like a screen on the side like most China remotes.
Screen on top works for me on my maytech but I’m not a huge fan of my buddy’s vx2
The trigger is probably independent of the main housing and its position is ‘read’ via hall sensors.
Re: screens, I never look at them anyway tbh. The only info it needs to tell me is whatever’s useful while I’m standing still. Things like mode/settings, odometer, remote/eSk8 battery levels etc. In the interests of its form-factor, it may as well be under my palm or even non-existent afaic.
Where’s that from?
Me too. My hand/trigger will be covered in muddy water and I always wonder where that goes.
Going on 2 years of HARD abuse and nasty riding and it’s been rock solid aside from one remote cutout in a specific area.
It looks like they took some (alot) inspiration from the maytech v2
Doesn’t look thin it looks TINY, but understandably if they made it bigger it would look even more like the maytech V2
For some reason the first pic on the post looks fake to me, photoshoped idk
Lets not forget that the V2 has a pretty big receiver with the relay even without if it’s still not that small after removal.
Could be promising if it was smaller, with a bigger thumb trigger.
Go suggest them to make it in different colors pink
White.
White, with a neon orange part on the front LOL
even better, black and orange, yk where i’m going with this

Yes i’m that type of guy, unfortunately

e: fixed some trademark thingy, so nobody sue me
Fwiw the speed modes on the maytech OG is pretty lousy, I imagine it will be the same here.
Instead of doing anything smart, it just weakens the acceleration. I could still go top speed on low.
It’s a steal for $6!
I’m really tempted. Someone should definitely buy one and let me know how it goes.
That’s the 1.5m antenna. For 6 usd
I’m gonna be that guy anyway and say that it looks like crap. I would not trust that brake button thing to stop me anywhere.
Also, after using a vesc wand with the real cruise control imprementation, both vx1 and vx2 cruise control is garbage
Raise your hand if you agree
I swear all of the Chinese products that have display would look 2x better if they were to choose some modern and better looking font for displaying informations on the screen.
Why is it so hard to understand… Even the user manuals, packaging and labels on the device itself. You can tell immediately just by the font used…
Look at the flipsky davega copy lol. Almost looks okay-ish, but when you turn it on…
Tell me, do the triggers rub against the side like the vx2 did all the time?
The triggers look so small
