How long does the flipsky VX1 battery life last? I know it is 850mAh, but my new board does 51 miles. Lol I’m curious if i need to upgrade my battery or buy a new remote. I currently have remote anxiety. lol
If you can get a hoyt puck, then why not?
It is possible to replace/expand the battery but there’s not much room inside for a bigger or another lithium pouch. If ya dun mind some dangling wires, then just carry a small powerbank instead. I’ve been charging-while-using my vx1 without any problem.
mine lasts up to 2-4 hours of use btw
Just take a long CAT6 cable. Open the remote. Remove battery, connect remotes +/- to 3,3v and gnd on your VeSc
= All problems solved
The title of the thread is “vx1 battery life” not ADC wiring guide !
That really depends on the original battery used and how much you’re willing to spend. If you pay more you can easily get little lithium ion battery packs that are the same size as the original but with a higher capacity. So long as the voltage of the pack is the same you can use a battery with a higher capacity.
Depending on the battery used you might find a good replacement on Amazon but if there isn’t anything worth it on Amazon there are so many battery options available on Aliexpress or ebay.
I really don’t think you could possibly run down your vx1 as long as it’s fully charged when you set out.
I know someone above said theirs only runs for three or four hours but I def get more than that maybe their battery has aged a bit.
If you have a small cellphone powerpack the vx1 can operate and charge at the same time - I learned this when I had forgotten to charge it one time.
So if you just bring that pack with you you won’t have to worry about getting stranded.
When I did 40-50km long rides with the VX1, remote battery was never an issue, I just charged it before every ride.
Not sure how long it lasts from full to empty though.
