Flipsky 75100 v2 or Spintend ubox 80V 100A? Which one would you get for an ebike build?

Chinese ebike, 48v battery, 750w geared hub motor.

Look into MakerX, that’s kind of our go to for general use high voltage

Look for something rated at least 60v and 20 battery amps

Wow that thing is tiny! 30 battery amps should be a substantial performance jump. The original controller it’s 10A rated, 20A maximum. Not sure if this comparison makes sense since they are two completely different controllers.

Would you mind sharing why you think the makerx is better?

I would also need to add a bluetooth module and a power switch to the makerx. If you have any suggestion, please feel free to share.

Could anyone help me with this? I’m hoping to make a decision in time for black friday.

Someone else should answer technically, but when I built my board, I went with items that were favored, JUST by anecdotal stories, conglomerated into a favorite. Simply not having significant complaints on this site, means you are less likely to have to replace. And they work well with other parts. I let others be the early adopters, to gain this kind of feedback.

Yeah, I trust the experienced guys in here. I will get the MakerX that @ZachTetra suggested but I would like to know why it’s a better choice because the specs aren’t as good as the Flipsky o the Spintend. There must be something else to consider but I don’t know what because I’m a noob.

In the meantime I discovered that I won’t need an antispark switch since I will pair the vesc with the Forumcontroller from the pedelecforum.de. The creator confirmed that the FC will turn on/off the vesc.
I’m still looking for suggestions for a bluetooth module, though.

Ok, I got the M100. The ebike is the only thing missing now

Maker x should have a bluetooth module on their site.

Flipsky have terrible qc/customer service and spintend are renowned for literally exploding/catching fire. Search the terms “fuckflipsky” or “spintend fire”

Maker x can have some weird quirks but rarely see hw failures and they have excellent customer service. You made a good choice.
