Flipsky 6384 (battle hardened) high resistance?

Spinning by hand and kick push from standstill…the motors have very high resistance…is that normal for these motors? It free rolls fine once it’s rolling.

I don’t have this much motor resistance from my other motors.

It’s not from right belts…

Unplug the phase leads and remove the belts, then try to spin by hand. Technically this would go in the Noob Questions thread rather than it’s own thread

I agree with Zach on the question placement

@EDness this is normal, these motors have a very high cogging torque, higher than any other motor I’ve felt. It’s just the proximity and strength of the magnets. If everything feels normal riding and running, don’t worry about it.

It’s the same for the new 6374’s too. They run great though! Mine are getting beat on by the day and have not had any issues yet

Thanks guys.

Funny about the post placement. Last few questions I posted there I didn’t get any response lol.

Do this, respond back

Sometimes things get missed, sorry bout that

I honestly don’t think he has any issue but this is good advice if he’s still worried about it

These motors almost feel like gears with how much cogging torque they have
