Flexible enclosure options for flexy deck

Hi All - starting a new build here with a backfire x1/x2 deck. It’s pretty flexible deck. Does anyone have advice for what enclosure might work well? It looks like the eboosted sportster enclosure might work well, but would be a very close fit - potentially a little too wide and long.

Enclosures don’t flex well because geometry, you have to use a split enclosure like Backfire intended or a segmented enclosure like for MTB decks

Its fucking science bitches.

Maybe check out the trampa enclosures from eboosted. Prob your best bet

I’d check the dimensions for you, but your tape measure is broken.

What’s not to understand? You just suck at maths

(I have to relearn maths everytime my 12yo needs help…)

I’m making an esk8 with that deck too, I 3D printed some sort of similar split enclosure as Backfire’s, taking advantage of the grip that comes with it (modeled my own way in Fusion) . However my battery didn’t fit that space (grip’s geometry), so I made a bigger enclosure for it and I´ll just change the grip. When I finish and test it I can tell you if that works.

Unrelated but I love your thumbnail.

Volokno has a segmented FG enclosure from here. I just ordered his non-segmented 12s8p enclosure, will respond back here if its absolute fire.

They use the queens numbers to feel bigger, faster, stronger.

Metric bot approves this message

If you’re in the USA, you can’t buy tape measures at the local hardware store or they come defective out of the box.

You have to order them online.

Except that one time metric fucked us up…

'Twas the use of FUB (Imperial) which fucked it up

Just took a couple decades for the technical debt to manifest itself as a crash.
