If you are soldering the phase wires, make sure the connectors are fully insulated. So put heatshrink not only over the solder joint, but also the connector itself. An extra step would be to put heatshrink over the connection when you have connected them in your enclosure.
If you have the dual version NOT plus.
DO NOT FLIP THE CAN SWITCH WHILE THE UNIT IS ON
