its a good thing you bought some diapers as well… will those be just for the first ride or every? ahhaha lol
@Accrobrandon I did own a Kawasaki at one point in my life when having children wasn’t a thing yet…shat myself then…might as well get prepared in advance now
It’s all good brother, happy to help.
how did this build turn out overall and how were the infinity mini trucks, good for carving ?
The build worked great.
Pros:
small
lightweight
easy to jump
Everything in one waterproof place
Tight turning
Cons:
Small range
Trucks too small for high speeds
Very topside heavy, accidents always end in barrel roll
Braking hard at high speed sends the board into an unavoidable wobble
All in all, as a first build, with all the ups and downs, I loved it. The problem solving part of it is partially what landed me a job at Lacroix.
I’ve been looking at these trucks as alternative to using DKP, which if I decided to go with them would mean I’d have to pick a deck suitable for 0 degree baseplates. How do these Trampas compare to DKP for carving? - seems like there are more options for bushings from Trampa perhaps…
I probably need to just take a trip down to Trampa HQ and try out their trucks tbh
Trampa trucks + kaly.nyc barrels are fucking amazing. I ride soft/soft and it carves almost as well as dkp while being more stable. Highly recommend my setup to anyone looking for a street Carver.
Have you tried the infinity mini trucks? I’m looking for the lightest trucks possible, and of the Trampa range these appear to be the lightest.
Also, what deck are you using? - i’m considering an Idea CF deck since, again, it’s the lightest I’ve seen
I’m using a kaly deck.
