First build...ever! (NYAKIM 1)

Thx bruh… a lot of reading and late night video sessions got me to this point. Besides riding down the street at 35+ mph on a piece of wood… Mid ride systems failure is NOT an option. I wanted to decrease my chances of something going wrong as much as possible. I think the initial investment is very important…

Yeah wtf is wrong with all of you with their first build looking like that !??
Mine was a fucking tupperware boxe with 3 lipos and one small motor on the only board I had, a very small cruiser
dammit

Ok I’m confused which one is correct. On both I have the spacer with the indented side facing the wheel as in the pic here. I think the last one is the way its suppose to be.

Believe me I wanted to go cheap but in reading so much I noticed a pattern. That initial investment is so important.

The last one seems to be correct, yet the spacer seems too thick.

Try this one to keep things a little more narrow

I appreciate it. That really is a great looking build. You will get a lot of life and outstanding performance.

I think that’s the one I have…I’ll check dimensions to be sure. Thx

You probably have this one

I remixed it to make it thinner.

yes that’s the one I have. I’ll grab the other one. I also thought it was a little thick.

Normally you would use a section of the pulley, reverse and placed in between the hub and the pulley. I have never used the model that you are showing, so I cannot speak about it. I have just published the model I use, I’ve used it multiple times and have never had an issue. I just thought it might be useful.

do you have a pic?

Sorry to tell you that, but it only goes worst and worst :joy:

lol…indeed, but not as bad though. :sunglasses:

So I started assembly while I’m waiting on parts. I made a couple of mistakes. I over tightened one of the screws on the rear right hub (one of the pulley screws). I’ll feel better with longer hardware ( wait that didnt sound right) I’m trying to say I think I need longer screws for my trucks. The bolt clears by only about 2mm. I stood on it last night and immediately got butterflies. I’m super stoked

I love this deck The 44 by RedEmber. it feels so good and stable.

It looks amazing. I have to say though, that enclosure is a bit of a let down on this deck.

thx bruh…I was thinking the same thing last night. I saw an enclosure from a guy named Sender I think. It was bad ass. I got this one cause it was large enough to fit the 12s6p and other electronics and also it was from Psychotiller… :sunglasses:

think I’ll go with the 7mm…the 10mm is a little thick

Like others have said that is one hell of a first build. By looking at your parts list you could have told me you were an experienced builder and I would have believed you.

Great set up.

As far as the 42t you can try it out to see how you like them but i would go with 60t you will have much better acceleration and braking and still have 30+mph top speed.

42t is closing in on 50mph and in my experience air tires dont feel confidence inspiring above 30 anyway.
