Fafnir the Dragon Spud

In the time of the gods when men feared the night Fafnir, son of Hridmar slew his father for a golden hoard and transformed himself into a dragon to guard it.

Not a build log, just some specs and pics because I’m lazy.

Specs:

Deck: BKB Tayto that’s been Senderized by @Sender

Enclosure: @eBoosted spud single stack

Trucks: Surf Rodz TKP with 127mm hangers

Wheels: Popocas

Drivetrain: Dual BKB 6355 190KV, BKB Modular pullies, 13:36 ratio.

Mounting hardware: @moon universal hanger mount, custom motor mounts

Battery: 10S3P 30Q with generic amazon BMS (because space) and Vedder antispark

ESC: Dual FocBox 1.7

Telemetry: Old metr module

I need a riding buddy for the summer. This will be good practice for her this winter and next spring.

She’s got a choochoo on the way as well. Lucky little shit. That’s for Xmas though.

Honestly? I have concerns about the long-run use. MDF isn’t dimensionally stable in the presence of moisture.
