Just got my motor pullies in. 12:46 ratio, 8mm keyed shaft. I dont really have a board for these right now, so im trying to figure out how to set this up. I’m missing motors lol

What are the advantages and disadvantages of using 8m pulleys and belts?
I’m guessing higher power and torque ratings, with less efficiency unless the pulley diameters are large on both ends

This is the reason I went with this ratio. 12T modor puller is quite large, so I don’t have a crazy small radius on the belt. If it’s significantly less efficient I’m junking the project

Use a 100mm wide M12 belt and you can make the pulley the wheel. eHalf-trak
